Coan Engineering’s NEW Turbo II is a much anticipated Powerglide alternative for high horsepower and limited tire applications.

The complex Powerglide planetary design hampers the ability to develop optimum gearratios for many of today’s combinations. By implementing planetary designs often used in 3-speed transmissions, Coan Engineering has solved the problem and developed the strongest, most versatile 2-speed automatic available.

The Turbo II utilizes existing powerglide or Turbo-Hydramatic torque converters, Powerglide shifters, and in some instances existing Powerglide bellhousings. Combine these features with the XST 1.250” input shaft and pump to produce the biggest, baddest automatic transmission on the market today.
